When pastor Andy Rutherford came onboard with Marietta First Church of the Nazarene, he knew that the systems in place for giving and church management needed an overhaul.
“We began to investigate…bringing everything together under one umbrella,” says Andy. This included collecting the tithe, the website, and tracking people.
Andy’s previous experience with Breeze at other churches showed him that Breeze–and the umbrella company, Tithely–would help First Church of the Nazarene achieve just that.
Using these two systems in partnership has helped the church create a streamlined system that has made everything easier and more efficient.
“The fact that we were able to move to a cloud-based system helped everything run a lot smoother,” explains Andy.
As far as functionality goes, Breeze has helped First Church of the Nazarene get organized with small groups and kid’s ministry. Child check-in is one particular feature that has been a game changer for both volunteers and parents, as volunteers can stay organized and parents can feel secure during the child check-in process.
Next, Tithely has helped First Church of the Nazarene build a brand-new church website–and church app–that have received great feedback. Finally, Tithely’s giving platform has helped the church not only collect tithes, but raise funding for causes they care about…like a local children’s home.
“We want to…bring people who are far from God close to God, and so we decided to move the direction of Tithely [and Breeze]….The bottom line is that it makes it easy.”
