The King’s Ambassadors
Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we are now entirely new creations with a divine purpose and high calling to serve the King of kings. What does this mean?
“To be ambassadors for Christ means that we are diplomatic agents of the highest rank, sent to represent King Jesus and authorized to speak on His behalf. We are the voice of Heaven to the earth, invested with royal power through the name of Jesus and the authority of His blood. We are to bring the message of reconciliation to the world, showing others how to live under the lordship of Jesus. This involves embodying the values of the Kingdom, living out the principles of righteousness, peace, and joy, and demonstrating the transformative power of God in our lives.” — Footnote on 2 Corinthians 5:20 (TPT)
Because of what Jesus did on the cross, we are now entirely new creations with a divine purpose and high calling to serve the King of kings. What does this mean?
- We are citizens from a different realm, citizens of heaven!
- We are co-seated with Jesus Christ as living gateways between heaven and earth, living in these two realms simultaneously. Ephesians 2:6 (TPT) states, "He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!"
- We are sons and daughters, heirs with God, and co-heirs with Jesus Christ (Romans 8:17 TPT).
- We are kings and priests, royal ambassadors.
- We are part of a commonwealth of an eternal, unshakable, and invincible kingdom. This kingdom is one of unlimited resources, power, and authority, where we have full access to wisdom and revelation.
- We are part of a holy nation that transcends all nationalities, denominations, cultures, and organizations.
Just as Jesus revealed the Father, we now get to reveal the King to the world. Our King has a kingdom, His rule, and domain on the earth. The kingdom of God is the family of God - the ultimate purpose of all creation! Our role is to make the invisible kingdom visible. Psalm 103:19 (TPT) tells us, "Yahweh has established his throne in heaven; his kingdom rules the entire universe." Psalm 24:1 (TPT) declares, "God claims the world as his. Everything and everyone belongs to him!"
In God’s kingdom, light displaces darkness, truth displaces lies, and love displaces fear. His presence brings healing to sickness, peace to chaos, joy to sorrow, and life to death. The greater reality of our King’s power, love, and righteousness brings transformation and victory in every aspect of life.
The kingdom of God is now within you, accessible 24/7—not some faraway place! As Jesus said in Luke 17:21 (TPT), "The kingdom of God is already expanding within some of you." The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17 TPT). It is a Spirit-led kingdom—not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6 TPT).
This kingdom is other-focused, characterized by servanthood and sacrificial love. It is love in action, faith expressing itself through love, the supernatural made natural, practical, and tangible. It is the rule or domain of our King, the will of God on earth as it is in heaven and the divine alignment between heaven and earth. The realm of the kingdom is where Jesus dwells and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is FREEDOM!
Our King - Jesus Christ
As outlined in Colossians 1:15-20 (TPT), "He is the divine portrait, the true likeness of the invisible God, and the firstborn heir of all creation. For in him was created the universe of things, both in the heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen. Every seat of power, realm of government, principality, and authority—it all exists through him and for his purpose! He existed before anything was made, and now everything finds completion in him. He is the Head of his body, which is the church. And since he is the beginning and the firstborn heir in resurrection, he is the most exalted one, holding first place in everything. For God is satisfied to have all his fullness dwelling in Christ. And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himself—back to its original intent, restored to innocence again!"
Our King sees you as innocent now and forever! His blood paid the full price. Jesus redeemed everything! As His royal ambassadors, we are to reclaim everything that was once lost for the kingdom. We have the honor of living out the fulfillment of Revelation 11:15, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our God and of his Anointed One! He will reign supreme for an eternity of eternities!”
Our King, Jesus Christ, is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13, TPT). He is the one who was, who is, and who is to come, the Lord God Almighty (Revelation 1:8, TPT). He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16 TPT). We have the great honor and privilege of living in life union with our King!
The Last Battle
"Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his!" —Colossians 2:15 (TPT)
Kris Vallotton reminds us, "Do not empower a disempowered enemy." The enemy has already been defeated through the cross of Christ. We have the authority to choose which kingdom we place our faith in—the kingdom of God or the kingdom of darkness. By choosing to align with the kingdom of God, we walk in the victory and freedom that Jesus has already secured for us.
As the kingdom expands within us, there is an external manifestation of righteousness and goodness, righting wrongs by grace. The kingdom of God is not just within us; it is meant to expand through us into the world around us. This expansion is illustrated in Scripture: "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16, TPT). We are called to actively spread this kingdom by making disciples, kingdom citizens, a colony of heaven on the earth: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19 TPT). But remember, apart from God, we can do nothing to expand His kingdom! Internal transformation through the power of His Holy Spirit leads to external transformation.
The Supreme Authority of Our King
Psalm 33:11-12 (TPT) declares, "His destiny-plan for the earth stands sure. His forever-plan remains in place and will never fail. Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own."
In the words of Bill Johnson, "Royalty is my identity. Servanthood is my assignment. Intimacy with God is my life source. So, before God, I'm intimate. Before people, I’m a servant. Before the powers of hell, I’m a ruler, with no tolerance for their influence."
The kingdom is about being a friend of God, in total unity with Him and unconditionally loved. Our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are our divine family and friends, while also being our Lord God Almighty. This is the gospel of the kingdom! The gospel of the kingdom changes everything! It is the best news imaginable! The good news from our joyful God!
May He have dominion from sea to sea and from the river to the ends of the earth!
"May the blessings of divine grace and supernatural peace that flow from God our wonderful Father, and our Messiah, the Lord Jesus, be upon your lives." — Colossians 1:2 (TPT)

About M46 Ministries
In 2022, the gospel of the kingdom began to come alive to me in an entirely new way. The gospel of the kingdom changes everything, providing a comprehensive and victorious vision and a new purpose for life. It certainly did for me, and I know it will do the same for you. My worldview expanded from a typical Christian perspective to a Kingdom perspective, and I believe understanding the kingdom of God is essential for every believer. This profound revelation led me to write "As in Heaven," a kingdom manual or textbook combining testimony and practical application of biblical principles lived out in a Spirit-led life. “As in Heaven” is more than a collection of teachings; it's a guide to living out kingdom principles in every aspect of life.
