Giving | The New Giving Form is Here

Exciting news! Our Giving Form has received a major upgrade to provide you with an enhanced user experience and expanded features. 

The updates include a seamless login experience using your phone number, enhanced options in the giving flow allowing personalization with memos and address requests, and multilingual support with translations in Spanish and French. These improvements ensure that contributing to your church continues to be a seamless experience.

GIVING | Reduced loading time on Giving pages

Sometimes the major projects our developers are working on are not shiny new features, but deep work improving our code to help make your experience even better!

Over the last few months, our development team has been working on a major project to help decrease the time it takes for pages like Transactions and Recurring Gifts to load. This month, we pushed out an update that reduced loading times down to less than 2 seconds for even our largest churches that process thousands of transactions a month!

ELVANTO | Update to Unsubscribe Report

We recently updated our Unsubscribe report to help you better understand why people unsubscribe from your church’s emails. Now, when people go to unsubscribe from your email communication, we will prompt them with a list of reasons for unsubscribing. You can then access this data by heading to the existing Unsubscribe report where a newly added column shows the reason each person unsubscribed.

Understanding why people unsubscribed from your emails will help you continually shape and improve your church’s communication strategy, such as learning if your church may be sending too many emails. And, it can even help you keep your member database up-to-date by understanding who is no longer attending your church. For more details, click here.

APPS | New Passwordless Login Flow for Users

Now, your church members can easily sign up or sign in to your Church App without a password! The new flow allows users to sign in through phone verification or an email link, providing a modern and convenient authentication process.

APPS | Easily Manage Admins and Users from your Tithely Account

This update simplifies user management in Church Apps. Now, Church App customers will be able to manage their admins and users directly within their Tithely Account, instead of having to manage them in their Church Apps dashboard.

This update adds simplicity and ease to the process of setting up users, and means you can provide access to Church Apps without giving access to financial data, making your Church App management even more secure. For more on how to add Limited Access Users for Apps, click here.

The Faces of Tithely

Where are you working from?

During COVID and post COVID many of us have the luxury of working from home - I have been fortunate to work from home for the last 17 years. I have moved my home office around a few times but my permanent location is our old dining room. We have one of those houses that has two living rooms so we moved our dining room into one of the living rooms and I took over the dining room. 

Also during COVID we had to build out a space for our son to attend school virtually, so his space is about 20 feet from mine and we had really fun Wifi wars during Covid fighting for bandwidth. I needed to be on Zoom for work and when he was done with school he hogged the bandwidth on Fortnite - one of the small reasons I was happy when schools reopened.

I am so incredibly grateful to get to work from home. The flexible schedule that Tithely allows me to have is priceless as I get to attend all of my son’s school and sporting events. 

‍Favorite Cereal?

That has changed over the years. In college, I think I had Lucky Charms with at least 2 meals a day in the dorm dining hall. But now I am a huge fan of Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds. 

Why do you love working at Tithely?

I mentioned the flexible schedule but I love serving the Church. During college I worked part-time for my church and for several years after college I worked full-time as an Administrator. From doing bookkeeping, to managing the membership records, to event planning, fundraising, and volunteer management I wore many hats while working for my church. The only tools I had were spreadsheets, phone calls on a landline, and my copy of Quicken for Dummies. I would have loved having a ChMS tool that allowed me to track membership, giving, communications, pledges and access to church-relevant media all in one platform. Not only do I get to work on those tools but being on the Product team I get to dream about how to make what we have even better. To combine my passion for serving the Church with working full-time making tools to serve the Church is a dream come true!
